There will be five colors available for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. Colors that can be selected include pink, blue, midnight (black), starlight (white aluminium and silver) and red.

Two of the most popular colors when the iPhone 13 launches on September 24 will likely be starlight, which replaces aluminum, and midnight, which replaces black. It is a color that appeals to most people, as it tends to be neutral.

Apple’s iPhone 12 line will include blue and red colors again this year. Compared with last year’s unit, the red on the iPhone 13 is much darker and deeper. I can tell from the images that the blue unit resembles the iPhone 12 from last year.

Green and purple are no longer available on the iPhone 13.

Aluminum frames surround the double flat-edged iPhone 13. For added scratch resistance, both the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 mini will feature a Ceramic Shield on the front. Besides IP68 water resistance and a notch to house Face ID sensors, both have a redesigned camera layout.

There are a few minor differences between the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 13.

In addition to graphite, gold, silver, and sierra blue, the iPhone 13 Pro colors include graphite, gold, and silver. In contrast, Apple sees sierra blue as something really unique and is touting graphite as a variation on space grey. According to Publication Designed by Apple, sierra blue is created with “multiple layers of nanometer-scale metallic ceramic applied across the surface for a stunning and durable finish.”

Surgical-grade stainless steel is also used in the iPhone 13 Pro lineup, as well as a textured matte glass back. Additionally, the rear cameras have stainless steel trim, the same as the iPhone 12, and Ceramic Shield provides scratch protection. Featuring an IP68 water resistance rating, the pro line is a great choice.
